  • Introduction to variogram structure, fitting model, kriging method for resource estimation, inverse distance weighted vs. ordinary kriging, kriging neighborhood analysis

Associate Professor of ITB. MNH has strong background in Mining, geostatical, and geomodelling. Over 22 years of experience in research and teaching on coal and mineral exploration and over 19 years of experience in geostatistical analysis and geomodelling.

Adang Saputra    

Senior lecturers in the field of Geoinformatics in KESDM. Expert Widyaiswara. He is also active in organizations, member of IAGI and Asproditegi.

Epo Prasetia Kusumah

Research focus in sedimentology, petroleum geology, and machine learning & automation geology. Affiliation in Pertamina University, active in IAGI/ISPG and SedStrat.com.

Geostatistical methods have been widely applied for natural resources estimation and evaluation based on the auto-correlation structure of univariate data and cross-correlation structure of multivariate data.

Geomineral manufacture is the initial activity needed to get an overview of the location to be explored in the mining sector. This requires understanding and skills in making the Geomineral map. In this workshop, participants will be invited to understand, create, and analyze basic geospatial to make geomineral maps so that we know the mineral zoning needed in conducting mineral exploration in the mining sector.

This workshop allow you to understand the concpet of machine leraning and how to implement machine learning technique for mineral prospectivity analysis. Other than than, programming skill allow you to create an automatization workflow to improve analysis cycle in your work environment.
